Professor Liu Xiaoyang graduated in 1983 from the Department of Chemistry at Jilin University with a major in Inorganic Chemistry. In 1993, he obtained a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the Department of Physics at the same university. From 1993 to 2006, he conducted studies and research at prestigious institutions, including Osaka University in Japan, Regensburg University in Germany, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the United States, and Western University in Canada. Since 2006, Professor Liu has been working at the College of Chemistry at Jilin University. His research focuses on the high-pressure and hydrothermal synthesis of inorganic functional materials and their applications.
